    So is this referring to Decidueye as it is the most popular gen 7 starter and the Greninja of its gen or Croagunk which is another frog Pokemon?

    I'm not even an avid Pokémon fan and I was really disappointed in this Direct. At least these were not revealed at E3 or else I would be even more let down.

      I'd actually be fine if this WAS revealed at E3.

      The disappointment comes from TPCi calling this BIG NEWS.

    I'm still cautiously optimistic that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are sequels like Black/White 2.

      "Alternate story" sounds like "alternate universe" which sounds like "parallel goings-on" which doesn't sound like "sequential occurrence" that a sequel must be.

      Doesn't the series timeline have some bizarre parallel universe split as of OR/AS? Maybe these will be set in the other universe. (Except that would mean removing features, so maybe not.)
