For the past two years, KoopaTV has reflected on our coverage of President Donald John Trump. Why? We committed a long time ago to wanting to be fair & balanced as we discuss the performance of a man that we, representatives of the foreign government of Koopa Kingdom, endorsed and helped elect. We owe it to our Earth readers.
In KoopaTV's first year of coverage, we wrote 19 articles where the main topic was about President Donald John Trump, with 9 articles with positive coverage, 1 article of neutral coverage, and 9 articles containing negative coverage. However, KoopaTV's second year of coverage was not only reduced with only 9 articles in that year, but only 2 of those were positive, 2 were neutral, and 5 were negative.
So what happened from January 2019 to January 2020? For this article, I continued what we've done in previous years and I compiled the following list of all of KoopaTV's coverage about President Donald John Trump, and noted for each item the topic, and if our coverage was positive, neutral, or negative. As an easy summary, there's a table at the end.
Articles that mention President Donald John Trump in passing, but aren't about him, are excluded from this. Every Democrat presidential primary debate article is excluded since those aren't about him by definition!

Sure, nothing has happened since March 2019 for this topic from a politics level, but it's a real acknowledgment from politicians in power (and seeking power) that this is a real gripe among the people of Earth, and they will become popular if they solve the problem!

Of course, we knew that the entire time. We said that trying to impeach the president anyway given those vindicating circumstances would be a horrible outcome. Turns out they didn't do it then... they just latched on to the next fake scandal, and here we are, about to start an impeachment trial!

- I classified this as “General Trump” because there's two distinct topics covered here, and both are bad, though it's not the main focus of the article. One is that, even though I like the criminal justice reform FIRST STEP Act, I'm concerned about its scalability and if anyone is working on the next steps, or if the President is satisfied with just the first step and he's done. Then I asked a foreign policy question, regarding why John Bolton (one of the biggest warmongers on Earth) was even in the administration if the President campaigned on (and got our support for) being against endless wars. You could characterise this article as coming in with a great deal of... doubt for what's going on in the President's head, though the main purpose of the article is to attack the Democrats for not reaching out to his supporters. You'd think if I have all of this doubt, they could come in and convince me to support them, but no, many of their candidates view “Go on Fox News” as grounds for kicking you out of the party.

Yes, once again there were only 9 articles in the past year. And once again, KoopaTV had net-negative coverage of President Donald John Trump.
Think about those stats the next time someone tells you that KoopaTV exists to be a Trump-promoting political site. That's statistically way off-base!
The ratios and article amounts might end up shifting and increasing dramatically between 2020 and 2021, due to the fact that KoopaTV will have general election coverage. Still, for now, that makes two years in a row where there is net-negative coverage, which may suggest an undue negative bias that KoopaTV should work on. Let KoopaTV know in the comments section your thoughts on that.

Yyyyyeah...my impression was that you were the most excited when he was president-elect and it rather dropped off comparatively after that. I've never really thought at all that KoopaTV was blindly praising Trump, and quite frankly I wouldn't still be here if you had been. Occasional political leanings that I disagree with aren't a big deal to me.
