A Battlefield of Health Care

By LUDWIG VON KOOPA - Who is the lesser of two evils?

So on one hand, we have Electronic Arts, a declared enemy of KoopaTV and the public at large. On the other hand, we have the Barack Hussein Obama administration, another declared enemy of KoopaTV and the public at large. So what happens when those two clash? I really don't know, but let's expose the lies and evils of both. Because KoopaTV is all about transparency. EA CEO Andrew Wilson claimed that Obamacare's implementation could've learned lessons from Battlefield 4's roll-out. But... that wasn't good either, was it?

Battlefield 4 had a staggered online launch set-up meant to make sure there wouldn't be server problems. You roll-out by geographic region, like you would when setting up a new information system in a business. If there is a problem, you don't have to fix the whole world because it should be caught early. However, apparently EA didn't fix all the problems before continuing the roll-out across the planet. So... it launched with some pretty awful usability. So can they really claim the government should take lessons from them?

To get an idea of the problems, here is an over-4,700 post thread (and counting) of known problems of Battlefield 4. Well, all online games have these kinds of problems at first. We're just hyper-sensitive to it based on some of EA's earlier terrible online roll-outs... You know, remember SimCity online? Remember, we JUST wrote an article comparing Obamacare and Grand Theft Auto V (the online component). And from what I know, the latter has been having a lot more problems than Battlefield 4. So perhaps it's just an overreaction. On that note, I haven't heard any stories of Battlefield 4 fans vandalizing and destroying stuff like their Call of Duty cousins.

As for Obamacare, that also has a scary amount of problems. Of course people can't log on to it, and there are security problems too. But there are a ton of lies with it too. Your premiums are going up. You can't keep your plan. Hell, you can't sign-up for Obamacare even not using its ill-fated website. And, of course, the biggest lie of all:

And the White House hasn't made a forum thread with all the known problems, either. Nope, it's up to ordinary, already busy and hardworking Americans to fend for themselves and have the media try to give information about new problems. So much for transparency.

So is Electronic Arts better than the Obama administration? I guess killing Elizabeth Brett is marginally less evil than drone-striking multiple innocent people. Of course, for all we know, EA's thirst for blood didn't stop at Elizabeth Brett. Stay tuned to KoopaTV for any new information on EA's murder tendencies. Truthfully, I wouldn't want either the government or EA in charge of health insurance for the country. I don't want any single organization in charge of health insurance for the country!

KoopaTV works hard around the clock to keep organizations accountable for their actions. If you have a question about KoopaTV's own transparency, then comment away!
