As of November 2nd, the Winner's List in The Pokémon Company International's "Gotta Catch 'Em All" sweepstakes was empty. This is in direct contradiction to the contest's Official Rules PDF, which clearly states that the final winners will be chosen around October 14, and every week for three weeks before that for those previous winners. It also states:
"The winner list will be posted after winner confirmation is complete".
So what is going on? Shouldn't this have been resolved weeks ago? KoopaTV decided to consult TPCi's outsourced service provider, ePrize, on the matter.
The winner's list in The Pokémon Company International's Gotta Catch 'Em All Sweepstakes was supposed to be published over two weeks ago, according to the official rules. But this is still empty: http://winlists.eprize.com/222925.pdf
So what's going on?
ePrize initially responded:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Our customer service team is carefully reviewing your email and will get back to you within 3 business days.
We've provided a copy of your email below for your records and have also established a reference number for your case: 01638997.
We'd be happy to further assist with any additional questions you have with this issue. Please include your reference number in the subject line for all future correspondence, or you can simply reply to this email to keep the same subject line.
And then after 3 business days, they replied,
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us. Generally it takes roughly 10 weeks to verify the winners and fulfill the prizes. At that time, we will publish the winners list. If it is not posted by the end of December, please feel free to contact me at that time.
Have a great day!
I don't know what takes them 10 weeks to verify the winners or what verification involves, but at least I know I'm not the winner. Most importantly, not only did they reply within their own specified timeframe, but they also wished me not just a "nice day", but a "great day"! That's SPECTACULAR. THIS is how you treat customers! Yes, I did say it was a customer service matter. I LOVE these people. So I'm going to recommend them to you.
If KoopaTV ever is going to outsource a promotion campaign, we know who to go to! Hell, their own blog is almost KoopaTV-like in personality! And they're prestigious. For anyone who wants to learn about marketing and promotions, I highly recommend just reading the free resources ePrize has.
Now, more importantly, the winners ARE now confirmed and posted on that winner's list link. And it took less than 10 weeks! That's commitment! That's service! That's good! Compare to other organizations like EA and the White House.

KoopaTV will work extra hard now to increase its marketing efforts and to promote excellent customer service. So just try us.
KoopaTV is still very much pro-customer service, and thinks these guys are a great example to learn from. They're also now named HelloWorld.
