Kong Wild in LA

By KAMEK - See you at the Banana Horde!

This is Kamek, all systems go.
I'll be bringing you all news that's fit to print....erm...type?
Did it happen in the last 24 hours? My Toadies and I are hovering over it.
Not to greet you all empty-handed, I have a small piece to share with you all.

Nintendo seems to be one of the more publicized gaming companies when it comes to interacting with the general public. The Big N is at it again in the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Garden. From May 24th to 27th, Memorial Day weekend, Nintendo will partner up with the L.A. Zoo commemorate the release of the Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. The obvious demo stations will be there along with some $5 coupons to drum up sales no doubt, but the most exciting thing ought to be the showing of the Zoo staff feeding the gorillas from videogame-inspired barrels. I'm sure there will be more than just a feeding as many zoos rarely pass on any opportunity to educate the masses. Swinging around will also be a costumed Donkey Kong who will be taking pictures with the excited zoo-goers as well.  A win for public education, the consumers, and the well-fed gorillas.

The LA zoo failed to comment on whether the gorillas will be wearing red ties.
