King Bowser Is The Champion Of Smash 3DS!

By LUDWIG VON KOOPA - You've earned it, King Dad.

There was just the first ever Super Smash Bros. For 3DS tournament at the San Diego Comic Con. The most notable thing about it?

King Dad is amazing.

The Grand Finals was a Bowser vs. Bowser match on Battlefield. Here is the link to the 2nd set of it.

The two players that made it into the Grand Finals both four-stocked their opponents before the grand finals match. Elite opponents like Sheik and Toon Link that would have destroyed Bowser in any other Super Smash Bros. game. But not here.

Here, Bowser reigns supreme.

No items. Bowser only. Battlefield.

From the Bowser vs. Bowser Grand Finals.

The Bowser player who won (player 2 in the above gif) lost in the first round of the tournament and clawed his way up all the way to grand finals, winning the first set (best two out of three) to reset the bracket.

Game 1!
Game 2!
So the bracket reset... And the amazing Bowser play continued.

Game 3!
Game 4!
Yes, the Bowser player won every match in the tournament he was in except his very first one.

The early matches of the tournament were four-player free-for-alls. A lot of people picked Bowser because they thought he would do very well in that kind of setting. Based on my personal experience with the game, that would be true. But the Bowsers didn't change characters when they advanced. They stayed as King Dad, and King Dad was... so very dominant. His speed. His power. His fire. His drop-kicks are so amazing. King Dad has been working very hard at that. He also has invincibility, judging by his one match where he was trying to return from Giga Bowser and was stuck for the rest of the match in a flash of light.

Larry Holland wins the first ever Super Smash Bros. 3DS tournament.
Larry Holland, the player 2 Bowser.
Larry Koopa, my brother, is going to need to work a lot harder to be the best Larry in the world.

So they got some medals... but even better...

Dat Trinen face.
Larry, with the power of King Dad, won a one-of-a-kind red robe. This is in contrast to the blue robes from the Super Smash Bros. For Wii U invitational that all the participants got. And yes, they put special emphasis that this is the only red robe in existence.

So Larry was asked how he felt about all this. He responded, "Pretty good." Upon being asked if that was it, he gave a simple, "Ye."

Larry is a guy of few words. Humble, too. You know who gets all the glory then?

King Bowser Koopa.

Long live the King of Koopas. Long live Koopa Kingdom!

Bowser wins the Grand Finals of Super Smash Bros. 3DS.
Bowser is the biggest thing here, rocking those monitors. We're adding San Diego to our empire.

Ludwig is super-hyped up about this result. He is going to main Bowser in these games. You can friend him to play him on the Wii U version at NNID PrinceOfKoopas, and friend him on the 3DS with the friend code 3351-5164-3598. Ludwig also works tirelessly as the prince of Koopa Kingdom and is a premier supporter of King Bowser's reign.

    2. We'll beat your ass, sure.

Or I will, at least. I'm the best on the staff at Smash by far.

    3. Yoshi calls complete bullsh*t on that claim and plans to own Ludwig as a doggy once December frolics around. He will use Fire Emblem pride characters to complete this easy task.

    5. Honestly, it's not the same. I'd much rather make Bowser suffer on the big screen.

  2. Ludwig, how can you constantly defend Nintendo like a bot if they have stuff like this?:

  5. "Elite opponents like Sheik and Toon Link that would have destroyed Bowser in any other Super Smash Bros. game" Toon Link being an elite opponent?

    1. Sure, why not? Especially against Bowser.

Toon Link is in the top third of characters in Brawl, and King Dad is in the bottom third.

BTW still want yo' contact info.
