By LUDWIG VON KOOPA - I'll rescue you through passwords or QR codes, for any applicable game.
It might be challenging to find support for games in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, especially older ones. They aren't “mainstream” but can be difficult to beat. Developer Chunsoft, for most games in the series, wanted to encourage community among players by allowing a player to rescue another if they get a game over. But since the franchise is not in the public eye, where do you find quick and active rescuers?
Look no more, since we at KoopaTV are big fans of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, spanning from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team to the more-recent Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS. We'll even be nice people and rescue you, just for the sake of being nice. (And encourage others to buy the games along the way.) So, I have set up this page as your resource to get help that you can trust.
Yes, I have the Game Boy Advance version of the first Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. It's compatible in terms of rescuing with the DS version, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. An advantage here is that I can play this game on my GameCube with the Game Boy Player. TV screen!
I have about 96 hours logged here with Team TeamKoopa. Of course, I've gone through the story and the post-game epilogue, but some of the post-game dungeons I've never completed. I've tried, but they're rather unfair, like Purity Forest and Joyous Tower.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is an amazing game. The fact that I have this, and not Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, means that if you have the latter and you need help with a Sky-exclusive dungeon, then I can't help you out with that. I have a lot of experience rescuing people over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection back when you could sign into that and rescue people off there. Very good times.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness is 100%-compatible in terms of me being able to rescue you.
I also haven't completed the very difficult post-game dungeons in this game, such as the Zero Isle series. I have gone through the Seven Treasures missions, though! I also have around 96 hours logged here, as Team KoopaREDUX.
I'm just calling out Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity to call out that you cannot do non-local rescues in this game. It's a StreetPass-only affair, so unless you're going to come to Koopa Kingdom or to Sierra Leone the few times a year I'm in the KoopaTV office, you're on your own here. Honestly, you shouldn't really be playing this game. It's not great.
My team is Team KoopaTV, and I have around 55 hours put into the game. There is a lot of post-game stuff I haven't done and won't do because it's not well-designed.
I expect most of my rescue activity to come from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, since this 3DS game is the most recent in the series. It also features QR codes as an alternative to the passcodes, which makes rescuing a lot faster. This whole article exists because I found a ton of satisfaction with rescuing people from Miiverse for this game, but since Miiverse doesn't exist, where do I find people to save?
I have almost 160 hours in this game, and I've basically 100%-ed it with Team Von Koopas since I have every Pokémon in it. I can rescue you anywhere, no problem. I'm very confident in my abilities. But since it's 100%-ed and I still want to play the game, that leaves helping the Internet with their rescue problems as the way for me to extend the game's playtime.
It's debatable what the best Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game is, but I think it's clear-cut that Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon has the best gameplay mechanics. They're fair and engaging. Since rescuing is purely an exercise in gameplay (as opposed to other things, like storyline), I'd most enjoy rescuing here. ...I also think it has the best dungeon music in the franchise, so that's a bonus.
Ludwig helps this article is search-engine-optimised enough for people searching for rescues in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon franchise to get help. He wants to emphasise that he will respond to all comments to this article in a timely fashion as they appear, and that rescues will be actively supported through 2018 and beyond. Ludwig encourages you to at least get Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon on the 3DS. This article will get refreshed if the franchise gets any new games in it. Hope it does! ...New does not count the Rescue Team remake.

How to be Rescued
- When you faint in the game, select the prompt saying you'd like to be rescued. The process is a little different for each game, but in general, there are options to Send SOS Mail out. You want the passcode from this
- Leave a comment in this article (or via e-mail to Ludwig's e-mail address provided on KoopaTV's contact page) with your rescue request, including...
- Dungeon you fainted in
- The floor you fainted in
- The game you're playing
- An image or transcription of the QR code (Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon) or passcode (every game)
- If playing Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, what format you want your code in (QR code or passcode)
- A request for what item I should attach to the Thank-You Mail. If you don't say anything, it'll be up to my discretion
- When commenting, you should check the Notify Me button so you can get a notification of my response
- I'll respond to you, and hopefully soon after (or in that very same response, if it's a short rescue) I'll give you the Rescue Mail so you can save yourself
- Use the Rescue Mail and be saved! I'd appreciate it if you then replied with a Thank-You Mail so KoopaTV knows you're safe

You need to give me the whole password, not just the middle part in yellow (I'm assuming that's what the 18 characters there are)!
DeleteOhhhhh that whole thing is the password? Sorry, I have never used the password method of rescue. Here you go:
DeleteS6MR=2X@3F+&S4PKK8

Yeah, the yellow part is, I think, just to improve readability.
DeleteI'm at my day job right now, but I'll rescue you by the end of the day with a password for you to put in. Stay tight!
