By LUDWIG VON KOOPA - Self-explanatory hype.

So... It hypes itself, right? We can play with our wired GameCube controllers! You know, the best Nintendo controller ever? So that means I don't have to buy a Pro Controller, right? Save $50? I was disappointed that Nintendo basically had an Xbox 360 knock-off for their Pro Controller when they ALREADY had the best controller design ever made! So, they're gonna sell those GameCube controllers with the Smash logo on them, right? 'cause I want them. And that music while they showed up in the video... They know.
We'll definitely watch this Invitational Tournament. Some more information not contained in that video or this Smashboards write-up:
- Competitor profiles are available on Facebook. If you need direct links to the images and can't access them for some reason, I can give them in the comments.
- The competitors were phone-called by Nintendo (who somehow obtained their phone numbers) and told to submit information about themselves, after telling them they were picked for the invitational. These calls went out two-to-three weeks ago.
- They'll have some sort of practice time before the thing starts. ...Or maybe they think they do but they won't.
Not sure what else to say, really!
Ludwig played Super Smash Bros. Melee today before he knew of the new news. It played great. He's happy.
