The GameFAQs Best. Game. Ever contest will have its last day on Tuesday, December 15. Not counting bonus polls. Same day as the Super Smash Bros. 4 Direct, and Night 5 of the Republican Presidential Debates! So that'll be a busy day.
But before we get there, we need to go through the quarter-finals. And then the semi-finals. And since we'll be going through this quickly, might as well dedicate this one article to the rest of the contest!

Quarterfinals 1 & 2
Friday, December 11, 2015(3) Super Smash Bros. Melee vs. (2) Final Fantasy VII
(6) Undertale vs. (3) Super Mario 64
Let's be very clear here. Since Pokémon couldn't defeat Undertale, that means Undertale is virtually unstoppable unless we are all unified in taking it down. Apparently, half of the Pokémon fanbase despises Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow. I'm not a fan either, but I'm not going to sabotage the effort to eliminate Undertale! Remember, Undertale is not winning because of GameFAQs users. It's winning because the tumblr-based fanbase is invading GameFAQs to ruin the contest to make a statement. And they love using the word "salty" to describe the reactions they want to give us.
KoopaTV was recognised by GameFAQs users to be on the frontlines in the attempt to rally for Undertale's defeat:

Anyway, Super Smash Bros. Melee only survived to defeat Chrono Trigger by having its own rally. Otherwise, Chrono Trigger would've destroyed it. Since Melee has proven it can rally as well and Final Fantasy VII has proven over the years that it's pretty poor at doing that, then we need to promote Super Smash Bros. Melee to fight Undertale when Super Mario 64 will lose.
...Plus, it's the game I like the most out of the eight remaining.
By the way, shout-downs to this Twitter discussion with Bala, who is obviously wrong on both of his assertions about Undertale as of minutes before publishing:

(9) Super Mario RPG vs. (3) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
It's humourous that Super Mario RPG won its division and may very well be a semi-finalist when Divisions 7 and 8 were basically the divisions where all of the non-Nintendo and non-Square Enix games went. And here's the game combining the two! ...Still my least favourite game here, besides Undertale.
Oh, um, I like A Link to the Past's opponent better. That's an acceptable opinion I don't need to justify, right?
Semifinals Part 1:
Sunday, December 13, 2015 (Ludwig's birthday!)(3) Super Smash Bros. Melee vs. (6) Undertale
Super obvious decision for me. There is no way I'm picking Undertale in this tournament ever again, and Super Smash Bros. Melee is my favourite game left. And one of my favourite games when the whole tournament started. The key to victory here is to rally the entire Super Smash Bros. community. If they're resistant or apathetic, then it won't work...!

It seems that Super Smash Bros. Melee is rallying really hard, but Undertale is able to parry it at every moment since it briefly took the lead. So I ask you this: Please vote for Super Smash Bros. Melee... for former president Satoru Iwata. He was absolutely instrumental in the game being able to exist.

You can't act like Undertale has an unfair advantage because non-users are voting for it when GameFaqs made it very clear people other than GameFaqs users would vote...

Delete"Stay determined" (shown upon a game over) or "...fills you with determination" (shown at save points) come up with most often because of their frequency, just like how "Objection!" is the most common Ace Attorney quote you'll see.
I've seen Miiverse posts from Undertale fans. I've seen many idiotic tumblr rally posts obviously from Undertale fans. I've seen their Reddit posts, and other places too. Same thing over and over IN THE SAME CONVERSATION TOO.

Melee briefly had a lead change, but then Undertale got updates out of nowhere (honestly, it's probably...not doing it in a valid way) and took the lead back.
Yeah, you're not the only one who noticed that. I was there when Melee overtook it, and Undertale simply hate hundreds of more votes within a couple of minutes. They ARE cheating, and it's really getting infuriating. They're ruining this for everyone else.
