KoopaTV Live Reactions: SOTU 2020

I have a large, growing number of gaming commentary I need to provide to you. But unfortunately, President Donald John Trump has taken over the universe's airwaves to make everyone a captive audience, all to hear him applaud into his own microphone as he says tired platitudes about how the State of the Union is strong.

Despite the KoopaTV in the article headline, this is just me reacting. Fortunately, I'm able to condense over an hour and a half of lame content into a pretty short reaction log, with perceptive commentary.

For your context, the current American political landscape involves a ridiculous impeachment trial coming to an end very soon, and the Democrats’ presidential primary has been a total disaster so far, even by their standards. With all of that said, the universe—even if unwillingly—is looking at President of the United States Donald John Trump to make sense of this turbulent time and boast his accomplishments.

Plus, there's some surprising events.

So will this speech finally be good?

[9:11 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: "The State of our Union is stronger than ever before."
[9:11 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: And that's the biggest platitude of them all.
[9:12 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: "Our agenda is pro-American."
[9:12 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Yeah, whatever.
[9:14 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Democrats not applauding a great economic success.
[9:14 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Or record low unemployment across the board, including African-American youth unemployment.
[9:15 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: And they really don't like women getting 72% of all new jobs.
[9:15 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: (Poor men.)

This is generally how the Democrats looked the whole night.
(I looked like this too, to be fair. Except much younger and significantly more handsome.)

[9:22 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Some Democrats, not all, applauding for the bipartisan criminal justice reform.
[9:24 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: President Donald John Trump more-or-less said his most important issue is fixing broken trade deals.
[9:25 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: (Even more important than THE WALL?!)
[9:26 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Talking about China and their wimpy trade deal and tariffs.
[9:26 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: No mention of coronavirus.
[9:26 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Coronavirus is decimating Chinese output.
[9:28 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Some Democrats applauding the USA opposing Maduro of Venezuela.
[9:28 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Surprised they'd do that.

Juan Guaidó (note the accent mark) keeps making fists or something as he death-stares at the applauding Americans.

Kid to the left is Ian Lanfeier. He wants to be in the Space Force.
Guy in the centre is his gread-grandfather, Charles McGee. He was a Tuskegee airman, which were the first black Americans in the Air Force during World War II.

By the way, Rush Limbaugh knew before the actual speech he was receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
He's feigning surprise for the cameras.

I'm not weary of the politics, but many KoopaTV readers are.
That's why I won't be covering any more Democrat primary presidential debates on KoopaTV!

Which is why the Iowa Caucus was ran the way it was, right??

[10:44 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Well,  that's that.
[10:44 PM]  Ludwig Von Koopa: Her response was underwhelming.
