
Back in October we broke the SAD! news: AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) was to be discontinued on December 15, 2017. ...Well, here we are.

If you try to access AIM via aim.com, you'll be redirected to AOL's AIM discontinuation announcement. I'm upset about this, since AIM has been around for almost all of my Internet life and has been a loyal constant. No more. And unlike Miiverse, there wasn't a data export option for your years. AOL's advice was to just go and scroll through years of history and manually save everything.
With AIM out, we had to find an alternative. We chose Discord, and it has made a dramatically positive impact on our organisation. Check out these facts:
