You may be wondering about what my role in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is. (You can bet I copy-pasted that title instead of writing it out.) I was wondering about that too in my Ring Fit Adventure New Years 2026 resolution Fitness Log. And I'll go into insider detail, from a wellness perspective, about that in the next several workout sessions. (The session notes are dated within that Fitness Log, so look at March 15's entry and then... March 26 and on. Or even better, read the whole thing, because it's underrated and great content.)
But for this surprise article, I have another perspective to go over. All of the Koopalings’ Wonder Effects are granted by Lord Bowser's Wonder Flower powers. These Wonder forms bring out our inner powers. They aren't random. They're deep-seated things. The other Koopalings can speak (or write) for themselves—I'm going to tell you about me. Before anyone else does. And if you're some YouTuber or Wiki writer or whatever, you need to credit KoopaTV with this information. You didn't come up with it. I did. First. This article's existence is proof of that.
This will be a simple article, though. Behold my Wonder (Mighty) Ludwig form:

Now, behold what my boss battle in Hotel Mario looks like, taking place in Ludwig's Frantic Lab on the top floor of Ludwig's Thump Castle Hotel.

Back in Hotel Mario, I already had lightning finger powers (though I can't recall how I got them): I walked around, shooting out bolts of lightning from a claw to destroy Mario. You never saw me do that before... or since. Until now. After the spooky castle hotel collapsed (and it wasn't insured, either!), I lost my lightning powers. Really, as quickly as I got them. But... they have remained dormant inside. Now the Wonder Effect revived them! Bwahahaha! Praise to King Bowser Koopa, ruler of Koopa Kingdom! (And he ought to be the ruler of the Flower Kingdom, too!)
Hotel Mario is canon, by the way, and I'll leave it to you to fully grasp the implications of that. It's also notable that those sibling plumbers knocked off my brother, Lemmy Koopa, from his cloud immediately preceding their invasion of my hotel. And now look! I'm the one riding the cloud! Gwehehehe!
And... that's almost all I really had to say, so congratulations on making it through the article. (It's much shorter than many other KoopaTV articles, but the average person's attention span has dropped drastically since KoopaTV first opened, and now people need constant reaffirmation and encouragement to get through basic tasks.)
Ludwig riding a cloud may be a reference to his NSider screen name ANTIROCKETCLOUDY. He already believes his Flutter Jumping abilities are a reference to his very vocal NSider-era insistence that Yoshi's Island is the best platformer ever, so it makes sense for Nintendo to keep putting references. He's also a noted enjoyer of the CD-i era, and if you are too, you should purchase Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore, produced by Dopply, one of his NSider-era friend and fans.

By the way, if you pay close attention, you'll notice a lot of speech patterns from Paper Mario: Color Splash. Obvious ones are MORTON'S ALL CAPS and my insistence that "Gwehehe" is a viable evil laugh.
ReplyDeleteYes, I knew Hotel Mario was canon too! I've not acquired a Switch 2 yet and don't really have immediate plans, but that's another topic. Since this came up, PM: Color Splash did well for some of the Koopalings but other's felt a little OOC to me. (That's yet again another subject I suppose. You were decent enough in it! Cool battle.)
ReplyDeleteI was great in all respects in all appearances, 'cause that's the type of commitment to quality I have. ♫
DeleteI would like to help one day convince you to get a Switch 2, though if you're not the type of person to be into Kirby Air Riders, then I can't strongly recommend it yet.
