Although i do wonder if Mario RPG or Earthbound will retain their present popularity should MOTHER 3/ Geno smash fighter ever be released by Nintendo. I mean no one would really be talking about Metroid if dread hadn't released, Ridley getting into smash was a big deal but the popularity of that notion has completely died. Can’t remember what. I do try to use the random article feature and I although I read many articles I only comment on those I can add somewhat too. I can yammer about Yamauchi and his awesomeness on other articles if you’d like. It is a good way to feature old content nonetheless. Although there is a distinct low amount of earthbound material.

-Captain StitchAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7803482805925136251.post-68131428713385906332022-06-24T17:32:11.913-04:002022-06-24T17:32:11.913-04:00Are you going through the random article feature o...Are you going through the random article feature or wot?

Classic.Ludwig Von Koopahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07286894104423855927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7803482805925136251.post-74222760069426900632022-06-24T11:04:01.365-04:002022-06-24T11:04:01.365-04:00Bit of a blunt title, but I can respect that. On the mariners, I learned that their previous owner was going to move the team to Florida because Seattle sucked, but Yamauchi bought and kept them there because one of the Nintendo outlets there was doing really well and he meant it as a thank you gift to the people of Seattle. Saying, “It’s not because of my contribution which results in the Mariners remaining in Seattle, because it’s the people of Seattle making the effort to keep the team there. Therefore, it’s not what I did for Seattle, it’s what Seattle people did for themselves,”.

Of course he apparently never went to a game even when they were playing in Japan, but that's just classic Yamauchi.
