Don't Object This Christmas: Become an Ace Attorney on a Budget!

By LUDWIG VON KOOPA - If you want to buy yourself a Christmas gift, here's a great suggestion.

If you want to feel like a million bucks, you'll only have to spend $15 or $20! You can make better deals than Donald Trump this Christmas if you go to the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS or New Nintendo 3DS or whatever and search "Ace Attorney". There, you'll see that CAPCOM's amazing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series is on sale until January 1, starting now! (Along with other Capcom games.)

You can get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Dual Destinies for only $15. You can buy Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for only $20.09. That's seven cents less than a cute $20.16 campaign contribution to your favourite presidential candidate.

You won't be able to vote for Phoenix Wright for president yet.
...I feel like if I had Santa Larry Butz here, he'd scare people away from buying the games.

If you like %s, here are some: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Dual Destinies is 50% off. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is 33% off. I'm pretty positive that's the best sale for Dual Destinies ever, since it was only 44% off nine months ago. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is at its lowest price since a month ago on Black Friday.

That's amazing. But to sweeten the deal...?

Let's remind ourselves that, if you value my opinion at all, you'll latch onto these deals if you haven't already experienced these games. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is composed of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials & Tribulations. Two of those I voted into the top 4 of my favourite games ever, according to a bracket, and top 10 according to a sorter. And I bought these individually at full-price back on the DS, mind you.

Now you're getting both those games plus one more all at the price of two-thirds of one of them? AND with revamped graphics plus Miiverse support? It's an amazing deal. Let's not forget that Dual Destinies is no slouch. I reviewed it glowingly on this site and I endorse it still to this day!

If you are under 17 and you were honest enough to let Nintendo know that when you made your Nintendo Network ID, you may be locked out of buying Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Dual Destinies. Don't fret: There is a way to change your birth year without erasing your NNID! It just requires a phone call, and you should have your parents nearby. Or better yet, have them call Nintendo and ask for them to change your NNID's birth year to something older than 1998. Call them at 1-800-255-3700! Hours and waiting queue may be skewed due to it being Christmas, but the wait music is pretty cool anyway.

You can see the connection too if you buy these games.

Don't feel like you have the money to spend on gifts for yourself? (Did you give more than you receive? How generous of you.) Never fear: KoopaTV is here! The KoopaTV Loyalty Rewards Program Round 5 is ending in a few days (December 30), and the prizes are Amazon codes, which you can use to purchase a Nintendo eShop prepaid card! See the details on the Loyalty Rewards Program here. Just note: It's still mathematically possible to win something even if you start now...

...You just have to try hard. (I'd recommend if you've already had any interaction with KoopaTV over the past two months, to check the standings on this spreadsheet and try to make it into the top 3.)

I think you're convinced to buy Ace Attorney, so it should be safe to unleash this on your eyes...
Update: Just so you're aware, it ends 11:59 AM Eastern on January 1, 2016.

If you've already purchased Ace Attorney, then good for you. You're ahead of the game. Well, at this point, you're really on-par. Hope you have a great Christmas!

2016 also brings with it an Ace Attorney sale, with deeper discounts...AND a new game!

    1. (So I picked your finger-snap to be Manfred von Karma style.)

(Note to any lurkers: Play Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney to know what that means!)

    2. Excellent. You're already talkin' like an Ace Attorney!

Your life will probably become a lot better.

  3. I remember hearing about this game everywhere on the internet and I decided to look for it everywhere in retail stores. I then found it in an independent game and comic book store and got hooked. This was before Justice For All was even released in the States. Thanks to this game I found a store I like to buy from (which also occasionally breaks street dates so I get some titles early) and I became a fan of a new series. Not sure if I want to go for the digital re-release though.

    1. Pros of getting it again:

*Ace Attorney games look more profitable to CAPCOM.
      *Miiverse posts.
